J. Andrew (Andrew) Woods concentrates his practice in the area of family law. Andrew was born and raised in Franklin, Indiana, and has more than 25 years of experience practicing family law in Johnson County and surrounding areas.
Andrew brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our family law clients. Andrew’s practice includes all aspects of paternity and divorce, including child custody and parenting time, child support, maintenance and/or alimony, and property valuations and settlements. Andrew has appeared in numerous cases involving Children in Need of Services (CHINS), either as a representative of a parent or as guardian ad litem on behalf of the child. Andrew has assisted many clients in obtaining guardianships, and has also represented grandparents and other relatives seeking visitation. Adoption cases are a special interest of Andrew’s, and he derives great satisfaction from bringing children together with their new families.
When not in the office, Andrew enjoys spending time with his family. Andrew’s wife, Dee, is an accomplished athlete and serves as the head diving coach for Franklin College.
